Cultural Heritage
URS services help our clients to develop lasting positive relations with their Indigenous host communities. We deliver creative and practical strategies to address local needs and conditions - supporting our clients’ operational and business success, respecting traditional cultures and offering better social and economic outcomes for local people.

Community Liaison and Social Impact Assessment
URS has provided community liaison and social impact assessment services for a number of diverse projects requiring social impact assessment and public participation. We have evaluated the social and environmental risks of investments by Governments, corporations and communities; focusing on establishing effective communication between proponents and communities. URS has worked with many community groups and corporate teams to create linkages between stakeholder and client interests in order to manage risks. Special emphasis has been placed on using these risk management activities to generate positive public affairs benefits for both proponents and involved communities. We are also experienced in quantitative and qualitative social research for evaluation purposes and as part of strategic planning exercises at regional and community scale.
