URS has a number of professionals with experience in delivering environmental presentations, providing training and facilitating group workshops.
URS training services include:- Identifying training needs
- Developing and implementing systems for ensuring that staff are properly trained at appropriate intervals and that relevant records are maintained
- Providing general environmental awareness training
- Facilitating workshops
- Providing specific training on systems or environmental issues
URS regularly develops and delivers environmental presentations and training courses including public courses, environmental awareness courses and facilitation of workshops for clients in the public and private sector. We have conducted a number of workshops for a broad cross-section of client personnel for various purposes, such as, developing and implementing environmental management systems, undertaking risk assessments, establishing environmental policy, and assessing the implications of new legislation, techniques and technologies.
URS employs trained facilitators with a comprehensive understanding of the learning process and are knowledgeable of the tools available to maximise the transfer of knowledge during training sessions. We incorporate experiential sessions into our training to maximise absorption of information.
